Addition for Taiatini Cartage - 18th Jul 2022

Tim and Mary Taiatini have added to their fleet! Joining Aztec this month is this Hino 2022 700 4 axel truck and trailer, 48 Tonne. 

The truck has been named 'Te Puni' Paying respect to Tim's Dad.

Arohena School - Wood is Good - 29th Jun 2022

Getting out into the community is something that we love doing! Sharing our knowledge with young students and helping them understand road safety and also all the different areas of forestry. We were fortunate enough to join forces with the 'Wood is Good' people and Wood Marketing to visit Arohena Primary School. The highlight for the kids was getting up into the cab and having a good honk on the horn!

Scania for West City Bulk Haulage - 7th Apr 2022

After joining the Aztec team last year, Wayne and Diane McLaughlin from West City Bulk Haulage are proud new owners of a 2022 Scania R620. Starting work on 4th April after being blessed by local kaumatua. 

Wayne and his driver Mark Holmes (previous Aztec contractor) are based in the central region.

 

Staks Logging - 11th Mar 2022

Mike Taranaki joined the Aztec team in August 2021, purchasing Greg Adams (Logways) T659 with Patchell gear and a Patchell 5 axle trailer.

Mike joins us from an illustrious career at JSWAPS and is looking forward to being a successful owner driver with the team.

Aztec director Peter Phillips has gone ALL OUT with his new addition! Shes a beauty to look at, and has been adorned with all the safety and innovation bells and whistles!

Driver Joe Williams will be at the helm of the new addition, looking sharp! 

New colours for 2022! - 1st Mar 2022

All ready for 2022! McCarthy log haulage purchased this Kenworth T659 last year, and over the xmas break, she got her Aztec makeover. The truck has been dedicated to family members, Charlie Honeycombe and Don Simmons, and is appropriately named, Unsung Heros.

Bulls new Mack. - 19th Aug 2021

Aztec contractor "Bull" Rainsford and his wife Angela have put this new Mack Trident on the road in based in Te Puke.

On 19th August 2021, sadly, Bull Rainsford passed away, leaving behind his beautiful family. He will forever be remembered by the Aztec team and has left a huge hole in our hearts, his fleet number 5655 has been retired forever in his honor.

Those that touch our lives, stay in our hearts forever.

Cams the boss now! - 31st Oct 2020

Congrats to Cam Boyle who, after being a driver for previous owner Bryan Surgenor, he has purchased the truck and is now a Owner Driver!  .
