All About This Company

Aztec Forestry Transport Developments Ltd has a 100 plus-strong fleet with with around half owned by Aztec and the rest belonging to sub contractors.

The fleet is made up of a mix of American, European and Japanese trucks and around 50% of the fleet are five axle trailers. The weight configurations vary from the standard 44 ton unit through to 54 ton permitted units.

Aztec came about as a result of three experienced owner operators joining forces to create a logging transport solution as key suppliers for Carter Holt Harvey's milling operations in the North Island of New Zealand.

The company has grown significantly since starting with just four trucks when it was formed in 1998. Today Aztec has more than a dozen large clients and its driver base continues to grow.
