Aztec Technology & Innovation

The last word "Developments" in Aztec’s company name is a subject that is underpinned by technology and innovation. Examples are:

  • IVCS – in cab camera systems.
  • CTI – drive axle central tire inflation systems.
  • WSX – an electronic, voiceless dispatch tool that enables our dispatch team to send job information to the drivers through PDT displays in their trucks. The system also collects data relative to the job and enables our clients to track load data associated with their operation. WSX also is used as an H&S management tool in terms of tracking speed and location.
  • GPS – as fitted to all trucks.
  • Active Speed Management - this system tracks speed and time in sensitive geo fenced road areas.
  • Truck Audit – a system designed by Peter Phillips that sees trucks audited against a template covering all aspects of truck and driver equipment. Once a pass is achieved an Aztec audit label is applied to the truck windscreen enabling clients and forest management to feel confident in the condition of Aztec’s transport fleet.
  • EBS – trailers are equipped with electronic stability control that manages brake force, wheel lock plus applies brakes to reduce speed should the trailer approach its SRT (Static Roll Threshold) to prevent a rollover situation developing.
